TP 600 - TrackPoint becomes unresponsive after installing Netfinity

Applicable to: World-Wide

Symptom:
After installing Netfinity on ThinkPad 600/E, the TrackPoint becomes unresponsive and the system appears to be hung.

Configuration:
Any ThinkPad 600 or 600E running NT 4.0

Solution:
1. Rename the files PARTCHK.EXE, PARTB.EXE and FILESYS.DLL.
a. Change PARTCHK.EXE to PARTCHK.ORG.
b. Change PARTB.EXE to PARTB.ORG.
c. Change FILESYS.DLL to FILESYS.ORG.

These file are all located within your Netfinity sub-directory.

ALL THREE files should be renamed.

There is NO LOSS of function with this solution.

2. Reboot the machine
