Sonic PX Engine update for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, and XP version 2.072b Installation README This package installs an updated version of the Sonic PX Engine software that comes with IBM Rescue and Recovery, IBM Rapid Restore PC, and IBM Image Ultra. This update requires approximately 2MB of space on your hard disk (drive C). This package corrects the following problems: - Creating Rescue Media from Access IBM fails with the error "There was a problem recording data to the disc. The disc could be defective. Make sure there is a blank disc in the recorder and press OK to retry or Cancel to abort." - Creating an initial backup CD set using Rapid Restore Ultra fails with the error "There was a problem recording data to the disc. The disc could be defective. Make sure there is a blank disc in the recorder and press OK to retry or Cancel to abort." - Creating a CD set using Image Ultra may fail with the error "There was a problem recording data to the disc. The disc could be defective. Make sure there is a blank disc in the recorder and press OK to retry or Cancel to abort." - Creating a Jukebox CD using IBM RecordNow may fail with a "buffer underrun" error as a side effect of installing IBM Rapid Restore Ultra. - Creating a copy of the Rescue Media CD would result in an unusable copy with no other errors. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation. Downloading the update ---------------------- 1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page. 2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file. Installing the update --------------------- 1. Click Start, click Find or Search, then click Files and folders. 2. Type b91z84usa.exe in the search field, then click Search. This will locate the file you just downloaded. 3. Double-click the icon for b91z84usa.exe. 4. Click Next. Read the license agreement. 5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. 6. Click Next. 7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\B91Z84US. 8. Click Next. 9. Click Finish. 10. Click Start, then click Run. 11. Type C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\B91Z84US\setup.exe, then click OK. The setup program will run. Follow all onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
