 SYMPTOM:

 Processor step level screen for Netfinity 7000 M10 FRUs.

 PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

 Netfinity 7000-M10 processor FRU p/n03K9099 or FRU p/n03K9100
 may contain non qualified parts.

 FIX:

 When a Netfinity 7000-M10 processor FRU is being installed,
 service personnel should check the processor brick part number
 content as follows:

  03K9099 FRU (400MHz/512KB Cache)
 ------------------------------------
 B0 level Brick 03K9110  NON-QUALIFIED and should not be used
 B0 screen level Brick 28L4541 Qualified
 B1 level Brick 28L4551  Qualified

  03K9100 FRU (400MHz/1MB Cache)
 ------------------------------
 B0 level Brick 03K9111  NON-QUALIFIED and should not be used
 B0 screen level Brick 28L4542 Qualified
 B1 level Brick 28L4552 Qualified

 Please ensure that only qualified FRUs for the
 Netfinity 7000-M10 product are used as listed above.

 All non-qualified stock has been recalled from the field.

 Should any non-qualified FRU parts be drawn from stock, please
 return immediately.
