H165144:  ADAPTER IRQ CHANGES / ADAPTER NOT VISIBLE IN CONFIGURATION


 SYMPTOM:

 1. Adapter is not visible in the configuration when using
    SCU 3.61 or prior versions.

 2. Adapter Interrupt setting changes on reboot.

 PROBLEM ISOLATION AIDS:

 - The system is one of the following IBM servers:

     - PC Server 704, Type 8650, any Model.

     - Netfinity 7000 server, Type 8651, any Model.

 - The system's SCU Utility is version 3.61 or prior versions.

 - The system's BIOS level 14 or prior.

 An example of a card which fails is Intel PRO/100 Intelligent
 Server adapter, product code PILA-8465B.

 FIX:

 Symptom #1 is fixed by SCU 3.80 and
 symptom #2 is fixed by BIOS 16.
