Enable the Automatic Server Restart feature automatically when device driver is loaded into kernel. 2.2 This is the initial release. 3.0 Installation and Setup Instructions ----------------------------------------- Note: The management application program must be stopped before any of these service processor device drivers can be installed. To install the software on Windows 2003 you need to have administrator privileges. 3.1 By following the installation instructions shown below, the correct System Management Device Driver will be automatically installed onto your server. * Open a Command prompt * If installing from a diskette, type: A:\Windows\SETUP * If installing from a CD-ROM, type: D:\DD\Windows\SETUP * Follow the directions that appear on the screen. * You must reboot the computer if the setup procedure prompts you to do it. 3.2 To unistall the System Management Device Driver, follow the uninstallation instructions shown below * Open a Command prompt * If uninstalling from a diskette, type: A:\Windows\SETUP -u * If uninstalling from a CD-ROM, type: D:\DD\Windows\SETUP -u * Follow the directions that appear on the screen. * You must reboot the computer if the setup procedure prompts you to do it. 4.0 Configuration Information ------------------------------- 4.1 Include any configuration installation N/A 4.2 Configuration Settings N/A 4.3 Hardware Status and Information N/A 5.0 Unattended Mode ------------------------------- The unattended method will install the drivers and accept default values for any screen prompts that would otherwise appear. There are 2 modes you can choose from: Quiet and Silent.
