Please refer to Retain Tip H185947. BIOS Version 1.32 -Update RORE SATA firmware to version 4.70.2059A and support nVidia Fx540 VGA adapter. BIOS Version 1.31 -Support Maxtor SAS hard drive. -Support Matrox - Parhelia VGA adapter. -Corrected a problem that original RAS function: beep code 1-3-1 disappeared. -Corrected a problem when BIOS error logs reach 64 entries, the system stop to log new error events. -Corrected a problem when a non-bootable floppy diskette inserted into a USB floppy drive, during BIOS post time, the system will show error code 1962 on the screen. BIOS Version 1.30 -Corrected a problem where a SBE (Single Bit Error) on DRAM DIMM1 would be incorrectly reported as DIMM3. With this change the SBE's are correctly reported on the failing DIMM. BIOS Version 1.29 - Correct a issue that when CMOS backup battery is removed, the system can not boot successfully at first time the battery is restore back. BIOS Version 1.28 - Correct Presler CPU L2 cache size information. - Update Presler CPU micro-code by Intel's request. BIOS Version 1.27 - Support Intel CPU: Cedar Mill and Presler. - Support RDM WCI function. BIOS Version 1.26 - Support RDM WNI function. - Support HostRaid mode for SATA and SCSI hard drive. BIOS Version 1.25 - Support ASF 2.0 function. - Support Chassis intruder-detection feature. Bios Version 1.24 - This is the initial release. 3.0 Installation and Setup Instructions The procedure to update the POST/BIOS is as follows: 3.1 Insert the "IntelliStation A10 POST/BIOS Flash Diskette" into drive A. 3.2 Start up or restart your IBM system. 3.3 The system will boot off of the diskette. 3.4 You will then be asked if you would like to save the current code to a diskette. If you select 'Y', you need to name the file to be saved. The file will be saved on the diskette. If you select 'N', the utility will continue to the next step. 3.5 At this point, you will be asked if you would like to continue the POST/BIOS flash update. If you select 'Y', the system will update the flash ROM with the new code. When this is complete you will be prompted to remove the diskette and hit 'F1' to reboot the system. 3.6 On the first system boot, after updating the BIOS, select the Setup Utility with the F1 key; then, select the "Load Default Settings" option. Select the "Save Settings" option, and hit 'y' to save.
