1.0   Overview

This README describes current BIOS version for the QLogic 1GB iSCSI TOE Expansion Card
and procedure for updating BIOS on the expansion card. 


	1.1   Dependencies:

	This BIOS is used in conjuction with SAN Surfer Manager version 4.01.11.

2.0   Change History

	QLogic iSCSI Expansion Card Bios Version 1.04
	--------------------------------------

	- Rev 1.04    Changes to some fastutil menus and options. Added     
                      Advanced Adapter Settings menu.                       
                      Added supprt for Restore Defaults mailbox command.    
                      Changed location of DELAYED ACK (TCP options bit 15). 
                      Added code to use Report Luns for configuring luns.   
                      Changed code to not save any changed parameters not   
                      saved following a Restore Defaults in CTRL-Q.         
                      Changed CTRL-Q to only allow lower case chars for IQN.
                      Changed code to include control field in length of    
                      Alternate Client ID.                                  
                      Fixed hole in code where flash copy of IFCB was not   
                      always updated.                                       
                      Fixed bug where a lun could be displayed twice.       
                      Changed timout for Link State from 2 to 6 seconds. 

	- Rev 1.03    Initial release.

3.0   Installation Instructions
_________________________________________


1. Open SANSurfer and connect to "localhost"
2. Click on the HBA that will be updated
3. Click on the "HBA Options" tab.
4. Click the button "Select BIOS to download"
5. Click "Browse" to find the iSCSI BIOS.
6. When you have selected the file, click "Open" rhen "Save".  If prompted for a password type "config".  The system will update the BIOS
7. When prompted, click "Yes" to refresh the system information.
8. Reboot the system and press "Ctrl+Q" when prompted to access the HBA BIOS.
