Select the "Save Settings" option, and hit 'y' to save. Then, select "Exit Setup" to exit the utility, and, finally, accept the displayed 'Y' option under "Save and exit the setup utility?" 2.5 If you are updating from a floppy diskette and wish to save your current BIOS to a file, mofify 'autoexec.bat' to include the backup '/bu' parameter. Current system BIOS will be saved to a file named 'BIOS.BAK'. 3.0 Configuration Information The following instructions can be used to update SMBIOS and VPD information. 3.1 e.g. Machine Type: 84862RU Serial # : KPAM630 UUID : ... 3.2 First boot the system using a DOS diskette.
