Note: There may be several minutes of apparent inactivity during this process. 2.7 After the recovery, remove AC power from the system. 2.8 Remove the top cover from the system. 2.9 Put the Boot Block jumper (J1) cap back its original location for normal operation covering pins 1 and 2. 2.10 Replace the top cover and remove the "IBM IntelliStation M40 System BIOS Crisis Recovery Diskette" from external USB floppy diskette drive A. 2.11 Verify that the DMI/SMBIOS strings are correct for the IBM IntelliStation M40 system.
