Gatherer for Windows 9x/NT4/2000/XP Updated to v 0.8.2

The client side gatherer tool for Windows 9x/NT4/2000/XP has been updated to version 0.8.2 
but users should be aware that this is only available in English and that only limited testing 
has been carried out. Please regard this as a Beta release and send details of any problems to 
the e-Gatherer Support e-mail address (click Support on the navigation bar). 

This version contains the following new features and fixes from version 0.8.1 : 

 - Changes to speed up service processor probe 
 - Fix bug where XP Home was reported as XP Personal 
 - Update Fibre Channel Storage probe to look for SymSM version in several places 
 - Capture MSCS Cluster Log file 
 - Report VPD on PCI adapters (ie Serial Number, Part Number etc) under NT / 2000 / XP 
 - Report SCSI / IDE disk drive serial numbers under NT / 2000 / XP 
 - Update PCI DeviceID / VendorID database to recognise more adapters (list has grown from 3800 entries to 7328) 
 - Report MAC address of active network adapters under NT / 2000 / XP 
 - Report size of physical disk drives under NT / 2000 / XP 
 - Report physical slot number for PCI adapters under NT / 2000 / XP
