This note describes the steps necessary to run DLTScript LE in a Windows 2000 environment.

The executable file aspi32.exe is required to run DLTScript LE under Windows 2000.

WARNING: USE OF THE ASPI32.EXE MAY ALTER CD RECORDER FUNCTIONS IN WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER.

Procedure:

First, run the program aspichk.exe.  This will report both the existance of ASPI support and the ASPI support level.
The ASPI level must be 4.75 in order to run DLTScript LE.

If aspichk.exe indicates the need to update the ASPI layer, run aspi32.exe.  Upon completion and restarting windows, re-run aspichk.exe 
to comfirm that the ASPI layer has been updated.

You may then proceed with running DLTScript LE.
