In addition to the Management Information Base (MIB) files that are standard for Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), this package also includes MIB files to access different types of information through SNMP. This information can include: o IBM Director Agent information on a managed system o Switch information for different vendors Note: These MIB files are useful for systems-management environments using an IBM Director Upward Integration Module (UIM). This MIB implements attributes common to all Internet hosts including, for example, both personal computers and systems that run variants of the UNIX(R) operating system.
