The DirectorAgent UIM for NetView should be installed after NetView is installed. The DirectorAgent UIM is distributed for use with the following operating systems: o Red Hat Linux, versions 7.2 and 7.3 o SuSE Linux, versions 7.2, 7.3, and 8.0 2.0 CHANGE HISTORY This is the first release of the DirectorAgent UIM for NetView on Linux. 3.0 INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING THE DirectorAgent UIM RPM The DirectorAgent UIM RPM can be installed on any linux system that is running the NetView. 3.1 Installing the RPM file Complete the following steps to install the RPM file: 1. Verify that the system has NetView is installed and properly configured. 2. From a command prompt, type the following command and press Enter: rpm -ivh nvuim-distribution-4.20-1.i386.rpm where distribution is one of the following: o redhat for systems running Red Hat Linux o suse for systems running SuSE Linux 3.2 Uninstalling the DirectorAgent UIM RPM for Linux Complete the following steps to uninstall the DirectorAgent UIM RPM: 1.
