Note: There may be several minutes where the system will beep, as the recovery process proceeds. When the recovery is complete the system will shut down. 3.7 After the shut down, remove AC power from the system. 3.8 Remove the top cover from the system. 3.9 Move the Boot Block jumper (JP6 for x206m, JP4 for x306m) back its original location for normal operation covering pins 1 and 2. 3.10 Replace the top cover and remove the "IBM x206m/x306m System BIOS Crisis Recovery Diskette" from the fixed floppy diskette drive A. 3.11 Verify that the DMI/SMBIOS strings are correct for the "IBM x206m/x306m system.
