Refer to the documentation for the Microsoft Windows operating system for more information. 3.3 Install the LSI MegaRAID Configuration Console utility. The latest version may be downloaded from the IBM support website: http://www.ibm.com/pc/support Be sure to select the option to install SNMP components for the LSI MCC utility. 3.4 Extract this patch into a temporary directory. 3.5 Stop the RAID_Server and SpySer services. See the documentation for your Windows operating system for details on how to stop services. These services will automatically restart on the next system boot. 3.6 Copy the avltree.dll and mib.dll files over the files that are already in the "system32" directory for your operating system. For example: C:\winnt\system32 The current files may be renamed before copying the new files into the directory for backup purposes. 3.7 Copy the SnmpIDERaid.dll file into the SNMP subdirectory contained in the directory where MCC was installed. For example: C:\Program Files\MegaRAID\snmp 3.8 Restart the system. 3.9 The SNMP traps sent by the MCC utility will be recognized by IBM Director v4.2 or later versions. For older versions or for other SNMP trap watchers, the LSIRAID-IDE.mib file may be compiled into the trap watcher.
