BIOS Version 1.19 - Build M1E119A - Fixed issue of system may not boot as expected when Network is selected as second or third priority boot device - Fixed issue of remote system access via Cerial Redirection may hang when set to 115kbps BIOS Version 1.18 - Build M1E118A - Fixed system may not wake up from power save state - Fixed abnormal display when entering Setup with User password - Updated AMD processor microcode - Fixed issue of possible connection problems when Console Redirection is used to remotely access the server - Improved USB performance BIOS Version 1.17 - Build M1E117A - Changed default settings for Console Redirection to 9600/VT100/CTS/RTS - Changed behavior of failed PXE boot such that a key press is not required to try next boot device BIOS Version 1.16 - Build M1E116A - Initial release 3.0 Installation and Setup Instructions The procedure to update the POST/BIOS is as follows: 3.1 Insert the "IBM POST/BIOS Flash Update" media into an external USB drive. 3.2 Start up or restart your IBM system. 3.3 The system will boot off of the update media and automatically update the system BIOS. 3.4 On the first system boot after updating the BIOS, select the Setup Utility with the F1 key; then, select the "Load Default Settings" option. Select the "Save Settings" option, and hit 'y' to save. Then, select "Exit Setup" to exit the utility, and, finally, accept the displayed 'Y' option under "Save and exit the setup utility?" 3.5 If you are updating from a floppy diskette and wish to save your current BIOS to a file, mofify 'autoexec.bat' to include the backup '/bu' parameter.
