1.0  Overview

This v6.2 software package is for all IBM Gigabit and 10/100 Ethernet. 

Linux Drivers software package for all IBM Gigabit Ethernet.
The adapters supported include:

PRO/1000 XT Server Adapter by Intel               22P6801
PRO/1000 T Desktop Adapter                        22P6501
PRO/1000 T Low Profile Desktop Adapter            22P6601
IBM Gigabit Ethernet SX Server Adapter            06P3701
IBM Netfinity Gigabit Ethernet SX Adapter         34L0301
IBM 10/100 Dual Port Server Adapter               22P4901
IBM 10/100 Ethernet Server Adapter                06P3601
Intel PRO/100 S Desktop Adapter                   22P4501
Intel PRO/100 S Low Profile Desktop Adapter       22P4701

And other older adapters.

This gold v6.2 software release will replace previous v3.1 and v5.1
software releases.

This package supports all Linux operating system versions that are
based on Linux kernels up to 2.2.20 and 2.4.18, including Red Hat,
SuSE, Caldera, and Turbo Linux.

Linux 64 is also supported for Itanium-based systems.

This package is created by PackageForTheWeb, which allows users
to be able to extract all files and directories into either the
default destination provided or any drive destination the users
wish to specify.

Linux kernels up to 2.2.20 and 2.4.18 are supported.
