1.0  About this diskette

This diskette will update the IBM Netfinity 5500 Advanced System
Mangement processor software only.  It will not affect any device drivers.

Changes for this diskette include:

        -Fix to allow heavy traffic both locally and remotely without
         collisions.

        -Fix to prevent errors in remote terminal when Enter key is
         repeatedly pressed.

        -Added an additional check during the flashing operation.


2.0  Installing this update

To install this update, perform the following steps:

    1) Shutdown your system
    2) Insert this diskette into the diskette drive
    3) Power on your system
    4) Choose option 1 (Update Advanced System Management Processor)
    5) Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the update
