SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Software: Windows 2000 NOTE: If you are running Windows 98, please download the Windows 98 drivers for your numeric keypad. II. DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS Download directly to the system which will be using the USB Numeri Keypad, go to the IBM web support site (www.ibm.com/pc/support). 1. Create a temporary directory on the system. Choose any directory name you desire. (Example c:\driver) 2. Double-click on the file, W2KNK20E.EXE (English) or W2KNK20J.EXE (Japanese) 3. When prompted, enter the directory created in step 1 for the download location of the file. 4. Go to the directory created in step 1, and double-click on file you downloaded to execute the file. ex. C:\driver\w2KNK20E.exe (where c:\driver is the directory created in step 1) 5. The file is a self-extracting executable and will ask you where you want the files to download. The default is C:\NUMPAD. 6. After the files are extracted, go to the directory and double-click on EXE file to install the drivers. ex. C:\numpad\InstW2KE.exe 7. Refer to the user's guide and the online help for additional information on the installation and configuration of the keypad. 8. After successfully installation, the temporary directory (C:\DRIVER) and all the contents created in step 1 can be deleted.
