Rapid Access Keyboard Version 1.0 April 28, 1998 Installation Instructions: Run SETUP.EXE to install the drivers. System Requirements: Software: Win95 or Win98. WinNT and OS/2 are NOT supported. Suspend button requires Advanced Power Management support (WIN95 OSR 2 or later.) Hardware: IBM compatible PC (any) with a CD-ROM. Audio functions require installed sound card. Suspend button requires Advanced Power Management 1.1 support. Troubleshooting: Some mouse and keyboard controller chips do not respond correctly to commands from the Rapid Access Keyboard, possibly resulting in system lock ups. If you experience lockups immediately after boot up, avoid pressing a Rapid Access Button during bootup. After bootup is complete, move the mouse, or hit any keyboard key before depressing a Rapid Access Button. If you experience lockups while pressing the mute button or suspend button (while the system is on), try disabling the mute and suspend LEDs. Go to Settings -> Control Panel -> Rapid Access Keyboard -> Customize - > Preferences. In Preferences, Disable the LEDs. Then select OK -> Cancel to exit. This will disable only the Mute and Suspend LEDs, not the Scroll Lock, Cap Lock, and Num Lock LEDs. For information on other topics, look at the online help text.
