Installation Instructions ------------------------- 1. Confirm that the "IBM 10/100 Ethernet Mini PCI Adapter with 56K Modem(3Com)" is installed in the system. 2. Boot the system with the 3Com Managed Boot Agent diskette. This will automatically update the managed boot agent. 3. After the boot agent is updated ("ROM successfully updated), power off the system. Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- 1. Confirm that the "IBM 10/100 Ethernet Mini PCI Adapter with 56K Modem(3Com)" is installed in the system. 2. Boot the system to a DOS prompt. 3. Insert the 3Com Managed Boot Agent diskette. 4. Type 'a:\mbacfg /i' at the command prompt. This will display the Managed Boot Agent Version (NIC-resident MBA Version: x.xx).
