Updating the firmware on your IBM DLT 40/80GB is an easily applied 
process.  There are several methods of applying firmware to the tape 
units.  The D8OEM1.V25 file is a binary file used by the utility 
programs found in document MIGR-4GEGY8 on the IBM PC Support web site.
