IBM Rapid Restore PC software for USB for Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP Version 2.65 Installation README This package will install the full version of the IBM Rapid Restore PC software for USB on your IBM(R) computer. This update requires approximately 60MB of space on your hard disk (drive C), this does not include the space required for your backup partition. IBM Rapid Restore PC protects against unexpected computer disasters such as image corruption and data loss. Rapid Restore PC provides a localized recovery solution that can quickly recover a system. Recovery is accomplished by pressing the F11 key and selecting one of the backups displayed on the list. During the initial setup of a computer, Rapid Restore PC creates an IBM Service Partition on the hard disk drive that is inaccessible by any other application or the end user. The IBM Service Partition size is set by the user during the installation process. Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.
