Intel(R) Ultra ATA Storage driver version 6.00.008a
Installation Readme

This package installs an Intel(R) ATA storage driver on your IBM(R) 
NetVista(R) 6568-xx, 6569-xx, 6578-xx, 6579-xx, 6648-xx, and 6649-xx 
systems with the Intel(R) 80801AA, 82801AB, or 82801BA 
controllers. This update takes approximately 2.2 MB of space on 
your hard disk (C:) drive.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the 
installation.


Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the update
---------------------
1.  Click Start -> Find -> Files and folders.
2.  Type z24z34us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the z24z34us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the icon for z24z34us.exe. 
4.  Click Next.
5.  Click I Agree.
6.  Click Finish.
7.  Click Yes.
8.  Click OK.
9.  Follow the onscreen prompts and choose to reboot at the end of
    installation.

Verifying correct installation - Windows 98
-------------------------------------------

1.  Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2.  Double-click the System icon. 
3.  Click the Device Manager tab.
4.  Click System devices.
5.  Expand the Hard Disk Controllers entry.
6.  Select either the Primary or Secondary controller listed.
7.  Click Properties.
8.  Click the Driver tab.
9.  Click the Driver File Details button. The entry for File Version
    should read the INTELATA.MPD and INTELVSD.VXD.

Verifying correct installation - Windows NT 4.0
-----------------------------------------------
1.  Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2.  Double-click SCSI Adapters.
3.  Click the Devices tab. IntelATA or Intel Ultra ATA Controller should
    be displayed.

Verifying correct installation - Windows 2000
---------------------------------------------
1.  Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2.  Double-click the System icon. 
3.  Click the Hardware tab.
4.  Click the Device Manager button.
5.  Expand the IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers entry.
6.  Select the Intel 82801XX Ultra ATA Controller listed, where XX in
    82801XX represents the controller identified above (80801AA, 
    82801AB, or 82801BA).
7.  Click Properties.
8.  Click the Driver tab.
9.  Click the Driver File Details button. The entry should read 
    INTELATA.SYS.
