SiS 630/540(R) Integrated Audio 7018 Drivers version 1.04
README

This package installs an update to the Microsoft(R) Windows(R)
NT 4.0 device driver for the SiS 540/630 audio system that comes 
preinstalled in your IBM computer. This update requires
approximately 6.5 MB of space on your hard disk (drive C).

This update package is intended for IBM Aptiva machine types
2193-xx, 2194-23B/32B/441, 2196-xx, except models 24A, 48L, 4AM,
and 4BM, and 2197-xx, except models 49L, 4CM, 4DM, 51M, and 53M, 
and IBM NetVista models 2179-xx, and 6643-xx that come with a 
preinstalled SiS 540/630(R) audio system.

Print this file so that you can refer to it during the installation.  


Downloading the update
----------------------
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Installing the update
---------------------
1.  Click Start, then select Find, and then click Files or Folders.
2.  Type qr3z01us.exe in the search box, then click Find Now.
    This will locate the qr3z01us.exe file you just downloaded. 
3.  Double-click the icon for qr3z01us.exe. The directory should
    remain C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\QR3Z01US.
4.  Click Next.
5.  Click I Agree.
6.  Click Finish.
7.  Click Yes.
8.  Click OK. The setup program will run. Follow all onscreen prompts
    and reboot when done.
