What This Package Does
-----------------------
The accompanying InterVideo WinDVD Upgrade package can update the
InterVideo WinDVD 5 Player in the ThinkPad system.

The following ThinkPad computers are supported:

  - ThinkPad R50e, R51
  - ThinkPad T42, T42p
  - ThinkPad X40
  

To update the program, refer to the "Installation instructions" 
section.

Installation instructions
-------------------------
NOTE:
- This driver can only be used on the supported ThinkPads listed 
  above.
- This package can not be installed without the InterVideo WinDVD 5
  already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade 
  purpose only.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
 1. Click Start, point to Programs, then point to InterVideo WinDVD,
    and then click InterVideo WinDVD. The DVD Panel player is
    launched.
 2. When the DVD Panel player is launched, right-click on the DVD 
    Panel player, and then click About....

Intallation
-----------
 1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then clck Run.
 4. Type [Program Path]\setup and click OK. [Program Path] is the 
    full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2 
    (For example C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD).
    NOTE: For unattended installation for system administrators
          only, type [Program Path]\setup -S -SMS.
