Installation instructions ------------------------- 1. Start Windows 98. 2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then select Settings, then click Control Panel. 4. Double-click the Display icon. The Display Properties window will appear. 5. Click the Setting tab. 6. Click the Advanced button. 7. Click the Adapter tab. 8. Click the Change button. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialog window will appear. 9. Click the Next button. 10. Select the Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want and click the Next button. 11. Click the Have Disk button. The Install From Disk window will appear. 12. In the Copy manufacturing file's from: box, type in C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY\ and click the OK button. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. The Select a device list will appears. 13. Confirm NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV is selected in the Models: field and click the OK button. 14. If the Update Driver Warning window appears, click the Yes button. 15. Click the Next button. 16. Select your screen parameters from the Color palette, Desktop area, and Font size; then click OK. 13. Click the Close button to close the Display Properties windows. 14. Click Yes when Windows 95 prompts you to restart the computer to make the display driver change effective. Windows Me 1. Boot Windows Me. 2. Extract the drivers onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then select Settings, then click Control Panel. 4. Double-click the Display icon 5. Click the Settings tab. 6. Click the Advanced button. 7. Click the Adapter tab. 8. Click the Change button. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialog window will appear. 9. Select the Specify the location of the driver(Advanced) then click the Next button. 10. Select the Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want and click the Next button. 11. Click the Have Disk button. The Install From Disk window will appear. 12. In the Copy manufacturing file's from: box, type in C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY\ and click the OK button. If Version Conflict appears on the screen, click the No button to replace. 16. After driver files are copied, click the Finish button. 17. Click the Yes button to restart Windows Me.
