Installation Instructions ------------------------- NOTE: For A20p and A21p machines, BIOS version IVET64WW or higher is required for proper video function. From this release, installation instructions are changed. 1. Start Windows 2000 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then click Run. 4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 5. When the Welcome window appears, click the Next button. 6. At the Software Licence Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes. 7. At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my computer now, and then click Finish to reboot the system. 8. If the Found New Hardware Wizard appears, click Next 9. Select Search for a suitable driver for my device(recommended) 10. Click Next. 11. Select Specify a location and click Next. 12. Specify the directory where the video drivers were extracted as C:\DRIVERS\W2K\DISPLAY. 13. The Driver Files Search Result window appears, click Next. 14. Confirm Philips WDM Video Decoder is selected and click Next. 15. At the Completing the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard window, click Finish. 16. Shutdown and restart the system. Unattended installation ----------------------- This is for system administrators' use only to install some drivers on many systems at the same time. 1.
