What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the display driver for Windows NT 4.0 users.

This package enables or updates the display function of the following
ThinkPad computers:
  - ThinkPad 600X

To determine if you have to update the display driver or not, refer to
the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the display driver, refer to the "Installation Guide" section.

(Note)
  This driver cannot be installed without Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 3
  or later. Install the Service Pack first, then try to install this
  driver to the system.

Installation Guide
------------------
  1. Boot Windows NT 4.0 and logon with administrative privileges
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click the Display icon.
  4. Click the 'Setting' tab.
  5. Click the 'Display Type...' button.
  6. Click the 'Change...' button.
  7. Click the 'Have Disk...' button.
  8. Specify the display driver location then click on the 'OK' button.
  9. Windows NT finds 'NeoMagic MagicMedia 256ZX' then click on the OK
     button.
 10. Click on the 'Yes' button to confirm that you are installing a
     third-party driver.
 11. Click on the 'OK' button when you are prompted to restart.
 12. Click on the 'Close' button to close the 'Display Type' window.
 13. Click on the 'Close' button to close the 'Display Properties'
     window.
 14. Click on the 'Yes' button and restart the computer to make the
     driver effective.
 --- After Restart ---
 15. Click on the 'OK' button, when the 'Invalid Display Settings'
     message appears.
 16. 'Display Properties' window appears. Select your screen parameter
     from the color palette, desktop area, and refresh frequency.
 17. Click on the 'Test' button and make sure the selected mode is
     displayed correctly on the screen.
 18. Click on the 'OK' button in the 'Display Properties' window.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
  1. Boot Windows NT 4.0.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click the Display icon.
  4. Select on the 'NeoMagic' tab.
     Number beside picture of diskette is version number.
