Installation Instructions ------------------------- Windows 95 (Retail Version, Service Pack 1) 1. Boot Windows 95. 2. Extract the Video drivers onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel. 4. Double-click the Display icon and select the Settings tab. 5. Click the Change Display Type button. 6. Click the Change button under Adapter type field. 7. Click the Have Disk button. 8. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click the OK button. 9. Windows 95 finds NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD device. Click the OK button. Windows 95 copies all driver files to your hard disk drive. 10. After driver files are copied, click the Close button to close the Change Display Type window. 11. Select color depth, resolution, and font. 12. Click the Close button to close the Display Properties windows. 13. Click the Yes button to restart Windows 95. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY in the source path and click the OK button. 12. Windows 98 finds NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD device. Click the OK button. 13. If Update Driver Warning appears on the screen, click the Yes button to continue to install. 14. Click the Next button. If Windows 98 cannot find driver files, change the source path to C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY and click the OK button. Windows 98 copies all driver files to your hard disk drive. 15. After driver files are copied, click the Finish button. 16. Click the Yes button to restart Windows 98. Windows Me 1. Boot Windows Me. 2. Extract the drivers onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel. 4. Click/Double-click the Display icon 5. Click the Settings tab. 6. Click the Advanced button. 7. Click the Adapter tab. 8. Click the Change button. The Update Device Driver Wizard dialog window will appear. 9. Select the Specify the location of the driver(Advanced) then click the Next button. 10. Select the Display a list of all the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want and click the Next button. 11. Click the Have Disk button. The Install From Disk window will appear. 12. In the Copy manufacturing file's from: box, type in C:\DRIVERS\W9X\DISPLAY\ and click the OK button. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. The Select a device list will appear. 13. Confirm NeoMagic MagicGraph 128XD is selected in the Models: field and click the OK button. 14. If Update Driver Warning appears on the screen, click the Yes button to continue to install. 15. If Version Conflict appears on the screen, click the No button to replace. 16. After driver files are copied, click the Finish button. 17. Click the Yes button to restart Windows Me.
