Installation Instructions ------------------------- INSTALL: 1. Start Windows NT 4.0 and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel. 4. Double-click the Display icon. 5. Select the Settings tab. 6. Click the Display Type button. 7. Click the Change... button and then click the Have Disk... button. 8. In the Copy manufacturer's files from field, type C:\DRIVERS\WNT\DISPLAY\WINNT4 and then click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 9. Select Intel Corporation 830M Graphics Controller Hub and click OK. 10. Click Yes. 11. Click OK. 12. Click Close. 13. Click Close. 14. Click the Yes button to restart the system for the driver to take effect. UNATTENDED INSTALL: NOTE: This is for system administrators' use only. 1. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\VIDEO\SETUP -K -SMS and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. DETERMINING WHICH VERSION IS INSTALLED: 1. Click Start, select Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click the Display icon. 3. Select the Settings tab. 4. Click the Display Type button. The version number will be displayed in the Adapter Type area.
