What This Package Does ---------------------- This package provides the display driver for Windows 2000/XP users. Due to this problem, the external display may become blank, which depends on types of external display. - (Fix) (Windows 2000) Disk-To-Disk Recovery may fail if the total size of installed memory is 128 MB. - (Fix) During unattended installation, Windows dialog box is shown to request key input, so installation stops. <6.13.01.3510> - (Fix) (Windows2000) During Windows shutdown, a part of the LCD screen may turn white for up to three seconds. Installation Instructions ------------------------- 1. Start Windows 2000/XP and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start and then click Run. 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DISPLAY\SETUP in the Open box and click OK. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. 6. When prompted for the location of Vch.sys, type c:\drivers\win\display\win2000 into the Copy files from: box, and click OK. 7. Click Finish to reboot the system and complete the installation. UNATTENDED INSTALL: NOTE: This is for system administrators' use only. 1. Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- Windows 2000 1. Start Windows 2000. 2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel. 3. Double-click the Display icon. 4. Select the Settings tab. 5. Click the Advanced button. 6. Select the "Intel(R) Graphics Technology" tab. The graphics driver version should be listed on this screen. Windows XP 1. Start Windows XP. 2. Click Start and then click Control Panel. 3. Click Appearance and Themes. 4. Click the Display icon. 5. Click the Settings tab. 6. Click the Advanced button. 7. Click the Adapter tab. 8. Click the Properties button. 9. Click the Driver tab. The version number will be displayed.
