Notice:

  This version of package will only work with ThinkPad X22, X23, X24 
  system BIOS Version 1.26 (or higher). Please get an additional package,
  System Program Service Diskette Version 1.26 (or higher) or ThinkPad
  BIOS Update Utility Version 1.26 (or higher), and update the BIOS in
  the system with it at the same time.


What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the display driver for Windows XP users.
This package enables or updates the display function of the following
ThinkPad computers:
  - ThinkPad X22
  - ThinkPad X23
  - ThinkPad X24

To determine if you have to update the display driver or not, refer to
the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the display driver, please refer to the "Installation 
Instructions" section.

  This version will only work with ThinkPad X22, X23, X24 system BIOS

 - (Fix) Error message appears when changing display device while 3D
         screen saver is running.
 - (Fix) RUNDLL32 error message appears when disabling display device
         in ATI display properties at extended desktop mode.


Installation Instructions
-------------------------
Install:
 1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start and then click Run.
 4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to
    install the video driver. Click OK to start the installation 
    process.  If you extracted the files to a different location, 
    specify that location instead.
 5. When the Welcome window appears, click the Next button.
 6. At the Software Licence Agreement screen, if you agree, click Yes.
 7. At the Setup Complete screen, select Yes, I want to restart my
    computer now.
 8. Click Finish, then reboot the system.

Unattended install:
 1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start and then click Run.
 4. Run SETUP.EXE in extracted folder with -K -SMS option.
    For example,
      C:\DRIVERS\VIDEO\SETUP.EXE -K -SMS

Determining which version is installed:
 1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
 2. Click Appearance and Themes.
 3. Click Display.
 4. Select Settings.
 5. Click Advanced.
 6. Select Options. It is described at Product Version in Version
    Information.
