The driver enables or updates the display function of the following ThinkPad computers: - ThinkPad T23 To determine if you should update the display driver or not, refer to the "Summary of Changes" section. To update the display driver, refer to the "Installation Instruction" section. Installation Instructions ------------------------- 1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges. 2. Extract the video drivers to the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then click Run. 4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE to install the video driver. Click the OK button to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 5. Follow the prompts on the screen. To uninstall the S3 driver including any S3 utilities: 1. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 3. Select the SuperSavage and Utilities in the list box. 4. Click the Add/Remove button to remove the display driver. NOTE: If necessary, the Uninstall procedure will reset the system to VGA. Unattended installation 1. Start Windows XP, logon with administrative privileges. 2. Extract the drivers to the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then click Run. 4. Run SETUP.EXE in extracted folder with -S -SMS option. For example, C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE -S -SMS Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- 1. Right-click on desktop then select Properties. Display Properties opens. 2. Select the Settings tab. 3. Click the Advanced button. 4. Select the S3Info Plus tab. 5. Check S3 Driver field. You can confirm 6.13.10.1251-12.90.51.
