Installation Instructions ------------------------- For Windows NT 3.51 1. Start Windows NT 3.51, and logon with the user ID authorized as an administrator. 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Select File from the Program Manager window; then select Run... from the pull-down menu. 4. Type [Program Path]\SETUP and press Enter. Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. The default choices are already highlighted in the Installation Options screen. NOTE: The default installation path and folder were changed from V4.17. If you already installed the previous version, uninstall it first or change the installation path and folder to the same as before. For Windows NT 4.0 1. Start Windows NT 4.0, and logon with the user ID authorized as an administrator. 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then clck Run. 4. Type [Program Path]\SETUP and press Enter. Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. NOTE: *1 The default installation path and folder were changed from V4.17. If you already installed the previous version, uninstall it first or change the installation path and folder to the same as before. *2 If you over install Version 4.20 or later on HDD Version 4.19 or former was installed to, please install On Screen Display package also. From Version 4.20, Utility does not install On Screen Display package. Another installation program is supported for On Screen Display. Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- 1. Start the ThinkPad Configuration program. The main screen will be displayed. 2. Select About ThinkPad Configuration icon on the tool bar. About dialog will be displayed. 3. The version will be displayed next to Utility.
