What This Package Does

This package contains the following package for Windows 98/Me users:

 - Utility for Windows 98/Me 

This package enables or updates the Configuration Utility programs for
the following IBM ThinkPad computers:

 - ThinkPad R30

Installation instructions
-------------------------
NOTE:  If you have a previous version of the ThinkPad Configuration 
Utility installed it must be removed prior to installing the new 
version. 

Uninstall:
 1. Start Windows 98/Me.
 2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs, click Configuration Utility and
    then click Add/Remove.
 4. Shut down and restart the computer.

Install:
 1. Start Windows 98/Me.
 2. Extract this package to the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\UTILITY\SETUP and click OK.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
 1. Start the ThinkPad Configuration program. The main screen will be
    displayed.
 2. Click Help, then click About. The About dialog window will be 
    displayed.
 3. The version will be displayed next to Utility Data.
