Windows 98 users need the following diskettes:
     - Utility Diskette for Windows 98 Disk 1
     - Utility Diskette for Windows 98 Disk 2
     - Utility Diskette for DOS, Personalization

     - Utility Data Diskette II for Windows 98
       (for ThinkPad 380Z)
     - Utility Data Diskette III for Windows 98
       (for ThinkPad 560Z)


What These Diskettes Do
-----------------------
This diskette provides the following utility programs for Windows 98
users:
  - ThinkPad Configuration program (setup program)
  - Fuel-Gauge program

This diskette enables or updates the utility programs of the following
ThinkPad computers:
  - ThinkPad 380Z
  - ThinkPad 560Z
  
To determine if you have to update the utility programs or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the utility programs, please refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide

(For Windows 98)

  1. Start Windows 98.
  2. Insert the Utility Diskette for Windows 98 Disk 1 into the diskette
     drive.
  3. Click on Start; then click on Run...
  4. Type A:\SETUP and click on OK.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
