What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the software support for the IBM ThinkPad
UltraNav Pointing Device for Windows NT4.0

This release supports the following systems:

  - ThinkPad T30(*1)

      *1: This package supports ThinkPad T30 UltraNav model only.
          Please do not install this driver on the other systems.

    Note: TrackPoint driver doesn't need to be installed on the
          UltraNav models.

Installation Guide
------------------
(Note)
- ThinkPad Software Installer provides install/(uninstall) wizard
  for this package.


UNINSTALL FOR Windows NT4.0:
 1. Start Windows NT4.0 and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Click Start, select Settings, and click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
 4. Select IBM ThinkPad UltraNav Driver.
 5. Click Add/Remove.
 6. Click Yes.
 7. Click OK three times.
 8. Restart the system.


INSTALL FOR Windows NT4.0:
 1. Start Windows NT4.0, and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Click Start and then click Run.
 3. Click the Browse button.
 4. Select the folder where IBM ThinkPad UltraNav Driver package
    is stored.
 5. Select Setup.exe.
 6. Click the Open button.
 7. Click OK.
 8. Select a language when Choose Setup Language popup panel appears,
    and click OK.
 9. Click Next on the Welcome panel.
10. Click Next on the Important information panel.
11. Select the destination folder where IBM ThinkPad UltraNav driver
    will be installed, and click Next.
12. Click Next on Start Copying Files panel.
13. Click Yes to create emergency repair diskette, or No to skip create.
14. If emergency repair diskette was created, click OK two times, otherwise proceed to
    #15.
15. Click Finish, and restart the system.


UNATTENDED INSTALL FOR Windows NT4.0:
 This is for system administrators' use only.
 1. Start Windows NT4.0, and logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start and then click Run.
 4. Type [Program Path]\setup -s -SMS and click OK.
    [Program Path] is the full path name where you extracted
    the package in the step 2.
