TrackPoint Driver for OS/2

What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the device driver for PS/2 TrackPoint feature for
OS/2 Warp version 4 users.

This release supports the following systems:
 - ThinkPad i Series 1720/1721
 - ThinkPad 390, 390E, 390X
 - ThinkPad 600, 600E, 600X
 - ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X, 770Z
 - ThinkPad T20


To determine if you have to update the TrackPoint driver or not, refer
to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the TrackPoint driver, refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------
 1. Start OS/2.
 2. Put the TrackPoint Driver Diskette for OS/2 into the diskette drive.
 3. Open an OS/2 command prompt.
 4. Type "A:\install" and press Enter.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
      If asked to choose a directory for installing the files,
      select the drive that contains OS/2.
 6. Restart your computer so the changes will take effect.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
 1. Start OS/2.
 2. Open an OS/2 command prompt.
 3. Type "dir mouse2.sys /s" and Enter.
 4. If "\os2\boot\mouse2.sys" is not found, TrackPoint driver is not
    installed in your system.
 5. If "\os2\boot\mouse2.sys" is found, the time stamp on the file
    will be the version number.
