Utility Wizard for Windows 98/Me/2000

What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the following utility programs for
Windows 98/Me/2000 users:
  - Battery MaxiMiser Wizard              
  - Presentation Director Wizard

This package enables or updates the utility programs of the following
ThinkPad computers:

   - ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-42U/62U/92U)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171-5WU/5BU/7WU/6LU/9LU)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-43U)
   - ThinkPad i Series 1300(1171-9MU/8MU/9NU/6MU/6NU/4MU/
                            9XU/8XU/9ZU/5XU/5CU/5ZU/6XU)
     Note: Wireless model support Windows Me/2000 only.
  
To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the
"Summary of Changes" section.

To update the utility programs, refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------
(Note)
- To determine if you should update the utility programs, refer to the
   Summary of Changes section.

INSTALL:
 1. Start Windows 98/Me/2000. For Windows 2000, logon with a User
    ID of Administrator.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Type [Program Path]\SETUP, and click OK.
    Program Path is the full path name where you extracted the package
    in the step 2, and click OK.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

(Note)
*1  If you install newer version after uninstalling previous version 
    on Windows 2000, reboot the system after uninstallation.

HOW TO DETERMINE WHAT VERSION IS INSTALLED:

Start one of the Wizards and see the first page. You will see the version information on the screen.
