This package provides the display driver for Windows XP users.
This package enables or updates the display function of the following

   - ThinkPad i Series 1300 1171 - 4**, 6MU, 8MU, 9MU
   - ThinkPad i Series 1300 1171 - 5CU, 5X*, 6XU, 7XG, 8XU, 9X*

Installation Instructions
-------------------------
 1. Start Windows XP and log on with the user ID authorized as 
    an administrator.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\DISPLAY\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and
    click the OK button.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
 6. Restart the system for the driver to take effect.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------

 1. Start Windows XP.
 2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double click on 'Appearance and Themes'
 4. Click the Display icon.
 4. Click the Settings tab.
 5. Click the Advanced button.
 6. Click the Adapter tab.
 7. The version number will be displayed in the Adaptor Type area.
