To install or update the device driver, use the standard tools provided by the operating system and point to the media or directory containing the drivers, such as follows: 1. Right-click the My Computer icon. 2. Click Find. 3. Type one of the NDIS driver names in Named: field. For example, if you are using Windows 2000, type E100bnt5.sys in the field. 4. Click on the Find Now button. 5. It lists the NDIS driver(s). If it does not list the NDIS driver, the Ethernet device driver is not installed in your system. 6. Right-click on the NDIS driver that is found in the Windows folder. 7. Click on the Properties. 8. Click on the Version tab. 9. Click on the Product Version in the Items name: field. DOS NDIS2: 1.
