What This Package Does ----------------------- The accompanying DVD-Video Player Upgrade package can update the Mediamatics DVD-Video Player in the ThinkPad system. The following ThinkPad computers are supported: - ThinkPad i Series 1200(1161-42U/62U/92U)(DVD model only) To update the program, refer to the "Installation instructions" section. Installation instructions ------------------------- Note: - This driver can only be used on the supported ThinkPads listed above. - This package can not be installed without the DVD-Video player already installed in the system. This package is for upgrade purpose only. 1. Start Windows. 2. Extract the package to your hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then click Run. 4. In the Run dialog window, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\DVD\SETUP.EXE to install the upgrade DVD player. Click OK to start the installation process. If you extracted the files to a different location, specify that location instead. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- 1. Click Start, select Programs, then click Mediamatics DVDExpress, and then click Mediamatics DVD Player. The DVD Panel player is launched. 2. When the DVD Panel player is launched, click on the Options button. The Options button has an Envelope Icon on it and is the 3 button on the left side of the player. 3. By default, the About tab is displayed, the program version is displayed on the line that says Build version.
