What This Package Does
-----------------------
This package provides the PC Card software for Windows 3.1 users.
This package enables or updates the PC Card function of the following
ThinkPad computers:
  - ThinkPad 380XD, 385XD, 380Z
  - ThinkPad 560X, 560Z
  - ThinkPad 600, 600E, 600X
  - ThinkPad 770, 770E, 770ED, 770X, 770Z

To determine if you have to update the PC Card software or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

To update the PC Card software, please refer to the "Installation Guide"
section.

Installation Guide
------------------
(Note)
To determine if you have to update the PC Card software or not, please
refer to the "Summary of Changes" section.

  1. Start Windows 3.1.
  2. Insert the Windows 3.1 PC Card driver diskette into the floppy drive.
  2. Click "File" in the Program Manager.
  3. Click "Run..." from the menu.
  4. Type A:\SETUP in the Run window, and click OK.
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
     Accept all defaults during CardWizard installation process.
  6. Exit Windows, and reboot the system.


How to determine what version is installed
------------------------------------------
 1. Run CardWizard Application.
 2. Click on 'Help' menu and select 'About CardWizard...'
 3. Version Number is shown.

Note : The above version number is expressed by '5.32.xx' format.
       The difference of minor version number does not mean the
       difference of the function.
       For example, the function of 5.32.21.SK4 is same as
       that of version 5.32.21.
