Installation Instructions ------------------------- Windows Me - Update Installation - 1. Start Windows Me. 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then clck Run. 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\PCCARD\O2SETUP.EXE in the Open box and click OK. 5. Follow the instructions on the screen. 6. Restart the system. 7. If the Add New hardware Wizard window opens, select Specify the location then click Next. 8. Select Search for the... then click Specify a location: and type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\PCCARD\WINME in the box. 9. Click Next then click Next. 10. Click Next then click Finish. 11. Click Yes for the driver to take effect. - Clean Installation - 1. Start Windows Me. 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel. 4. Open the System icon. 5. Click the Device Manager tab. 6. Expand the PCMCIA socket section. 7. Select O2Micro OZ6812/6912 CardBus Controller then click Remove. 8. Click Remove then click OK. 9. Click Refresh. 10. The Add New hardware Wizard window will open, select Specify the location then click Next. 11. Select Search for the... then select Specify a location: and type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\PCCARD\WINME in the box. 12. Click Next then click Next. 13. Click Next then click Finish. 14. Click Yes for the driver to take effect. Windows 98 - Update Installation - 1. Start Windows 98. 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive. 3. Click Start, then clck Run. 4. Check only on Specify a location. and type C:\DRIVERS\W9X\PCCARD\WIN98 in the box. 12. Click Next then click Next. 13. Click Finish. 14. Click Yes for the driver to take effect. Determining which version is installed -------------------------------------- 1. Start Windows 98/Me. 2. Click Start, select Settings, then click Control Panel. 3. Open the System icon 4. Click the Device Manager tab. 5. Expand the PCMCIA socket section. 6. Select O2Micro OZ6812 CardBus Controller and click Properties. 7. Click the Driver tab. 8. Click Driver File Details. 9.
