  QFE#           Description of Fixed Problem
  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  889816         Incorrect battery information is displayed after you change the 
		 batteries on a portable computer that is in hibernation or in a
		 suspended state in Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 
		 2000.
                       

Installation/Uninstallation Guide
----------------------------------

1) Manual Installation by "Setup Program for QFE"
 
Setup Program for QFE is the installation program for each QFE which is extracted
to each folder when running OSX055US.exe. The file name is xxxxxxUS.exe. "xxxxxxx" 
shall be written as QFE number. 

 1. Logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Execute OSX055US.exe to extract this package onto the hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\OSFIXES\WXPUP
 3. Go to the folder of the QFE which you want to install. Refer to "Table of
    Installed QFE" to know what folder you should open.
 4. Execute xxxxxxUS.exe in each QFE folder. 
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

2) Manual Uninstallation using "Add or Remove Programs".
 1. Logon with administrative privileges.
 2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
 4. Click the QFE which you want to remove, then click Remove.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
