Patch 1.08

          Patch for Mwave equipped ThinkPads 755, 760, and 765
          ====================================================

This patch is intended to fix the following problem:
                  
	V42 buffer control problems that caused the two V42 modems
          to get out of sync and hang up the connection.

    
This patch is intended for limited distribution to IBM customers. 
It has received only limited testing before release by IBM, therefore 
it is suggested that any critical data on your hard drive be backed up 
before applying it. This patch will become obsolete with the next 
release of Mwave modem code.

This patch is intended for Mwave version 2.25 or 2.25a running under
Windows 95 or Windows 98.

Patch Prerequisites
===================
Mwave version 2.25 or 2.25a must be loaded on your computer running
under Windows 95, or Mwave version 2.25a must be loaded on your
computer running under Windows 98.

Patch Instructions  
==================

1. Click on Start --> Run
2. Type a:install
3. Install will locate all of the modem software, and copy over the
   necessary file updates.
4. Reboot the system for the patch to take effect.
