What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the Wireless LAN driver of IBM High Rate Wireless 
LAN Mini PCI combo card for Windows XP.
This package enables or updates the IBM Wireless LAN function of the 
following ThinkPad computers:

  - ThinkPad R30
  - ThinkPad R31

To update the Wireless LAN driver, refer to the Installation instructions
section

Installation instructions:
--------------------------
 1. Start Windows XP and log on with the user ID authorized as 
    an administrator.
 2. Extract this package onto the hard disk drive.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. Type C:\DRIVERS\WXP\WLLANACT\AEIWLNXP\SETUP.EXE in the Open box and
    click OK.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
 6. Restart the system for the driver to be effective.


Determining which version is installed:
---------------------------------------
1. Click the Prism icon on the system tray.
2. Click the About tab on the Configuration Utility.  The version of the 
   drivers and firmware should be listed.
