What This Package Does
-----------------------
Prior to using hibernation mode, you need to create a hibernation file
on the hard drive. This package provides the hibernation utility
program which creates the hibernation file.

This release supports the following systems:
   - ThinkPad 240, 240X, 240Z
   - ThinkPad 570, 570E
   - ThinkPad i Series 1157*

   * Supports Windows 98/Me only.

Installation instructions
-------------------------
 1. Start Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT.  (If using Windows
    NT, logon with administrative privilege.)
 2. Extract the hibernation drivers onto the hard disk.
 3. Click Start, then click Run.
 4. In the Open field, type C:\DRIVERS\WIN\UTILITY\SETUP.EXE to
    install the hibernation driver. Click the OK button to start the
    installation process. If you extracted the files to a different
    location, specify that location instead.
 5. Follow the instructions on the screen.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------

Check the date stamp of the PHDSKWIN.EXE in the installed directory.
