FlipTouch Control Utility for Windows 98/Me/2000

What This Package Does
----------------------
This package provides the software support for the FlipTouch Control
for Windows 98, Windows Me, and Windows 2000.
The following models are supported:

  - ThinkPad TransNote

To determine if you should update the FlipTouch Control Utility,
refer to the Summary of Changes section.

To update the FlipTouch Control Utility, refer to the
Installation Guide section.

Installation instructions
-------------------------
NOTES:
- To determine if you should update the FlipTouch Control Utility,
  refer to the Summary of Changes section.

- Before installing this package, please make sure that following
  package is already installed.
    - On Screen Display

INSTALL FOR Windows 98/Me/2000:
 1. Start Windows 98/ME/2000.
 2. Click Start, then click Run.
 3. Click the Browse button.
 4. Select the folder where "FlipTouch Control Utility" package
    is stored.
 5. Select Setup.exe.
 6. Click the Open button.
 7. Click OK Button.
 8. Select language when "Choose Setup Language" popup panel appears,
    and press the OK button.
 9. Press the Next button.
10. Select the path where you want to install FlipTouch Control Utility.
11. Click the Next button.
12. Click the Finish button.


Uninstall instructions
----------------------
 1. Start Windows 95/98/Me or NT 4.0.
 2. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Control Panel.
 3. Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
 4. Click the Install/Uninstall tab at the top of the Add/Remove Programs Properties window.
 5. Select "IBM FlipTouch Control Utility" in the list.
 6. Click the Add/Remove button.


Determining which version is installed
--------------------------------------
Windows 98
 1. Start Windows 98.
 2. Click Start, point to Find, then click Files or Folders.
 3. Click the Name & Location tab.
 4. In the Named: field, type in "wphkey.exe".
 5. In the Look in: field, specify Local Hard drives (C:,D:).
 6. Click the Find Now button. Windows will now search your hard
    drive for wphkey.exe.  If the file is not found, then the
    FlipTouch driver is not installed on your system.
 7. Scroll the window to the right and look at the Modified column.
    The time stamp on the file will be the version number.
      wphkey.exe 12-14-2000 01:01a - is version 1.01

Windows Me
 1. Start Windows Me.
 2. Click Start, point to Search, then click For Files or Folders.
 3. In the Search for files or folders named: field, type in
    "wphkey.exe".
 4. In the Look in: field, specify Local Disk (C:).
 5. Click on the Search Now button. Windows will now search your
    hard drive for wphkey.exe.  If the file is not found, then the
    FlipTouch driver is not installed on your system.
 6. Scroll the window to the right and look at the Modified column.
    The time stamp on the file will be the version number.
      wphkey.exe 12-14-2000 01:01a - is version 1.01

Windows 2000
 1. Start Windows 2000.
 2. Click Start, point to Search, and click For Files or Folders.
 3. Click the Name & Location tab.
 4. In the Named: field, type in "wphkey.exe".
 5. In the Look in: field, specify Local Hard drives (C:,D:).
 6. Click the Find Now button.
 7. Scroll the window to the right and look at the Modified column.
    The time stamp on the file will be the version number.
